American YouTuber Darren Jason Watkins Jr., popularly known as IShowSpeed has created a lot of buzz and sensation on social media after taking a ride in a flying car. During a tour in Shenzhen, China, Speed was given the rare opportunity to fly in the EHang EH216-S, a two-seater aerial vehicle.

IShowSpeed, who has gained fame for pulling off dramatic stunts and attempting what others would consider extreme, has taken it a notch higher with this new adventure, and as expected, the internet is not quiet about it.

In the viral social media video, Speed is seen flying over buildings and screaming, “Oh my God, I’m shaking,” as the car hovers over the horizon and then finally lands on a podium.

The 20-year-old has previously jumped out of a Cristiano Ronaldo-themed Lamborghini Huracan supercar while his father was driving, performing the footballer’s signature goalscoring celebration, “siuuu,” after the dangerous stunt.

Flying cars have created a lot of sensation in the last couple of years, with developers such as Alef creating and testing prototypes. Some skeptics have considered the long-term and mass-scale use of flying cars impossible, while others believe that flying cars are the future of the automotive industry.

Is Speed’s new experience in China a glimpse into the future, or is it another isolated incident, never to be seen again?
