If you’re a car enthusiast or a BMW fanatic, the BMW 3 series will be one of your favorite vehicles. The car is not only stunning, but its performance and stamina on the road are top-notch. That’s why the newest model in the lineup has received a lot of attention and hype. The BMW 3 series which started in July 2024 pulls off a brilliant twin-turbo inline-six engine with a very impressive 523 horsepower, which can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.8 seconds. The M3 can easily maneuver its way through narrow, winding roads or canyon roads without any problems. The 2025 BMW is a force to reckon with and one for elite drivers. Let’s dive into the engine performance, interior design, infotainment features, and more to see why the latest M3 may not be overhyped at all.
Engine & Performance
The standard version of the 2025 M3 comes with 473 horsepower, which is extreme for a base model – with 406 pound-feet of torque sent to the rear wheels. The M3 Competition takes it a step higher with 503 horsepower and 479 pound-feet, and the M3 Comp comes with 523 horsepower, has options with an all-wheel-drive system, and includes a rear-drive mode and 20 more ponies. With these powerful features, the M3 is a king of acceleration. In addition, the rear-wheel drive allows for more control of the vehicle and a traditional driving experience, while the ability to switch between rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive in the M3 Comp allows drivers to customize their driving experience based on the weather or their personal preference for handling.

Interior & Comfort
The interior of the M3 is very similar to the interior of the BMW 3-series lineup, except for the trim details in the 2025 M3 and a distinct “M” badging. The interior of the car has more carbon fiber and microsuede accents to give a racier aesthetic. Drivers also enjoy a nicely curved digital gauge cluster that switches to an “M” view in the sportier drive modes. These are activated by red buttons on the steering wheel of the BMW M3. The seats of the M3 are lightweight, offering support and comfort to drivers and passengers, especially on long road trips.
Infotainment and Connectivity
M3 has a wide, curved screen that displays its infotainment system. It stretches from behind the steering wheel across most of the dashboard and runs on the iDrive 8.5 interface. If you prefer not to use the touchscreen, physical buttons, and my personal favorite; a rotary knob are available options you could use. The car also comes with several phone-charging ports and offers a variety of standard and optional features. Notably, BMW has removed the paid subscription for Apple CarPlay and now includes Android Auto as standard, ensuring that you enjoy long car rides with good music, an audiobook, or an interesting podcast. The M3 also comes with a Harman/Kardon sound system and a one-year SiriusXM satellite radio subscription. Additional options are gesture controls, a subscription-based Wi-Fi hotspot, and a wireless charging pad.

The 2025 BMW M3 has really impressive features that may justify its high price range of $77,175 to $86,475, depending on the trim options. If you’re looking for a car that accelerates like a bird and still feels solid and aesthetically pleasing, then the new M3 model may just be the right fit for you.
